Atlanta is #32 on Bloomberg's Best 50 Cities List

In recent years Atlanta has not done well on some of the US Cities lists, but the recent Bloomberg study rated Atlanta as the 32ndcity in the nation when they compiled data from the US Census Bureau, US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Sperling’s BestPlaces, GreatSchools, Onboard Informatics, Realty Trac, and Trust for Public Land.

There are many reasons to determine a city is the Best. While Bloomberg paid attention to data sources, there can be other factors chosen by each individual. From a business standpoint, Atlanta ranks as the 9th largest Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) with a total population of 5,268,860. The population total was an increase of 24% since 2000. Houston, which grew at a rate of 26%, was the only other top 10 city that grew more than Atlanta during those 10 years. Dallas was just behind Atlanta at a 23% growth rate over 10 years.
